Doctrines and Policy Implications
Moving beyond general management, Dr. Abid elaborated on the specific legal doctrines utilized by each country. He explained how distinct national philosophies and historical contexts have shaped their respective water policies.
Key Takeaway: The lecture highlighted that water management is not merely a technical issue but a legal and diplomatic one, heavily influenced by national doctrines regarding sovereignty and resource utilization.

Relevance for Indonesia
The lecture imparted profound knowledge to the attending students. By examining these foreign case studies, students were encouraged to draw parallels and analyse potential strategies for Indonesia's water resources management. The comparative approach provided a fresh lens through which the future legal experts of Unpad can view domestic water policy, particularly regarding archival and inter-regional water issues.
