Plenary Session for the Screening of Candidates for the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, for the 2026-2030 Term

The Faculty Senate of the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, held the Plenary Session for the Screening of Candidates for the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, for the 2026–2030 Term on Monday (November 3) at the Prof. Dr. Mieke Komar Kantaatmadja, S.H., M.CL. Meeting Room, Jatinangor Campus.

This activity marks an important stage in the democratic, objective, and transparent selection process for the leadership of the Faculty of Law. The plenary session was attended by all members of the faculty senate and five prospective candidates who had passed the administrative verification stage, namely:

1. Dr. Anita Afriana, S.H., M.H.
2. Dr. Danrivanto Budhijanto, S.H., LL.M (IT), FCBArb., FIIArb.
3. Dr. Idris, S.H., M.A.
4. Prof. Dr. Maret Priyanta, S.H., M.H.
5. R. Achmad Gusman Catur Siswandi, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D.

The order of presentations was determined by a random draw, resulting in the following sequence: the first presentation by Dr. Anita Afriana, the second by R. Achmad Gusman Catur Siswandi, Ph.D., the third by Dr. Danrivanto Budhijanto, the fourth by Prof. Dr. Maret Priyanta, and the fifth by Dr. Idris.

During the session, the prospective candidates presented their vision, mission, and strategic plans to advance the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, in the upcoming leadership period, in line with the faculty’s commitment to achieving excellence and global competitiveness in higher education governance.

The plenary session then continued with a question-and-answer segment and an evaluation by the members of the Faculty Senate as part of the screening process.

Through this activity, the Faculty Senate of the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining an integrity-based, transparent, and forward-looking selection process for faculty leadership.

This activity was carried out in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 Quality Education and Goal 16 Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
