Garry Gumelar Pratama S.H., M.H. is a lecturer and researcher in International Law, specializing in International Air and Space Law. As a registered researcher at the Indonesian Center for Air and Space Law (ICASL), Garry Gumelar is involved in research on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) regulations under national and international law, as well as research related to the use of military airfields for civil aviation.
After earning cum laude degrees in both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, Garry Gumelar taught in the Undergraduate Program in International Law at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University. He was also the administrator of the Nuffic NICHE project for four years to foster capacity building in International Law at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University. In 2015, he completed the International Law Course organized by the Clingendael Institute and Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Garry Gumelar also completed a short course on ASEAN Law compared to European Union Law which was also held by the Clingendael Institute in 2017. Currently, Garry Gumelar is active as a member of the International Law Association (ILA) Indonesian Branch.
