Education:
Since 1999, Achmad Gusman has contributed various ideas and thoughts in the field of international law. Gusman has actively written several articles related to international maritime law, international law on intellectual property rights, and international law on natural resources.
From 2007 to 2016, Gusman served on the expert team at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, drafting national policies for the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, and the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing in the Utilization of Genetic Resources. Gusman is also frequently involved in policy design, public consultations, and serves as a resource person at various ministries and institutions, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs.
