Prof. Dr. Asep Nana Mulyana, S.H., M.Hum is a senior legal practitioner and academic who currently serves as the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia (Kejagung), specifically as the Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum). Born in Tasikmalaya on August 14, 1969, he embarked on a long career in law enforcement, starting as staff at the Pusdiklat, serving as a prosecutor at various levels, and eventually leading several high prosecutors' offices in different regions. During his career, he also served as the Director General of Legislation at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkum-HAM) before returning to his position at the Attorney General's Office.
In his academic journey, he completed his doctoral education (S3) at the Doctoral Program in Law at Padjadjaran University in 2012. With a blend of practical and academic experience, he is trusted to serve as the General Chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutors' Association (PERSAJA) for the 2025-2027 term. This role, along with his duties at the Attorney General's Office, reflects his commitment to strengthening law enforcement, developing restorative justice, and improving the effectiveness of the justice system in Indonesia.
