History
The Department of Economic Law is a development of the economic law specialization program, which was originally part of civil law. In 2012, the Department of Economic Law became one of the Law Departments within the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, to respond to the dynamics and rapid developments in the field of economic law. This development of economic law includes the development of an economic legal system with the implementation of a legal system based on Sharia principles, which gave rise to Sharia economic law, an information technology-based legal system that gave rise to the digital economy, and a response to global economic developments to realize a sustainable economy by creating sustainable economic law (environmental economic law). General Explanation
The Department is committed to developing interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transnational Economic Law scholarship. The Department of Economic Law contributes to producing graduates with academic and professional competencies, as well as legal ethics, that are adaptive to global and digital developments. Human resource quality improvement is carried out sustainably and systematically to contribute ideas in the professional, private, and government spheres.
