Education:
Miranda Risang Ayu Palar, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. is a specialist in the field of intellectual property law and cultural property law. Miranda won a Bachelor of Law (S.H.) in 1994 at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, then continued his Masters (LL.M.) in 2003 and won a Philosophy Doctorate (Ph.D.) in 2008 at the Faculty of Law, University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
dr. Miranda had served as a member of the West Java Culture Council (2015-2019), Deputy Chairperson of the Brand Commission Commission, Djki Kemkumham (2011-2014), and Commissioner of the National Collective Management Institute for Copyright (2015-2018). At present, he serves as Chair of the Center for Intellectual Property Regulation & Application Studies at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University. Miranda is also active in participating in various international training and is involved in organizations such as independent experts at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and members of the Intellectual & Industrial Property Research Network (IPIRA).
