National Hero Recognition
The President of the Republic of Indonesia has conferred the title of National Hero upon the late Prof. Dr. Mochtar Kusumaatmadja, S.H., LL.M., in recognition of his remarkable contributions and dedication in the fields of law and politics. Through his visionary concept of the Archipelagic State, which became the foundation of the Djuanda Declaration, Prof. Mochtar played a pivotal role in strengthening Indonesia’s maritime sovereignty on the international stage. His spirit and dedication will continue to inspire the world of Indonesian law.
