Prof. Dr. Ahmad M. Ramli, S.H., M.H., FCB.Arb, CRGP is a Professor of Law at Padjadjaran University. Born in Bandung on July 4, 1961, Prof. Ramli completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees in Law with cum laude honors at Padjadjaran University. Prof. Ramli also conducted research and participated in the Visiting Scholar Program at the University of California, Berkeley, United States, and the Certificate Program on Intellectual Property at the Japan Patent Office, Tokyo.

Currently, Prof. Ramli serves as the Director General of Postal and Information Technology at the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. He began his career as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, in 1986. At the age of 43, he established himself as one of the youngest professors at the university. In 2010, Prof. Ramli served as Director General of Intellectual Property. He was also appointed Head of the National Legal Development Agency (BPHN) from 2007 to 2010, and Acting Director General of Legislation at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2010.

In his research, Prof. Ramli has received international recognition for his legal research in various legal fields, including research on e-commerce, intellectual property rights (IPR), legal aspects of foreign investment (PMA), consumer legal protection, and cyber law. His expertise in various legal aspects has led him to be trusted as the head of the government team in the deliberation of various bills such as the Copyright Bill, the Trademark Bill, the Patent Bill, the Public Information Disclosure Bill, and the Money Laundering Bill, all of which have been enacted. Prof. Ramli currently holds a position as an Expert Council member of the Indonesian Legal Scholars Association (ISHI) and an Arbitrator at the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI).
