Prof. Dr. Helza Nova Lita S.H., M.H.

Prof. Dr. Helza Nova Lita, S.H., M.H. is a permanent lecturer in the fields of Economic Law, Sharia Economic Law, Waqf, Technology Transfer Law, and Business Competition Law at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University. Her expertise in Sharia Economic Law led her to be appointed to the expert team for the revision of the Waqf Law by the Indonesian Waqf Council in 2019, a resource person for the drafting of the 2019 Sharia Economic Bill, and the legal team of the National Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KNEKS).
Prof. Dr. Helza served as an Expert Staff to the Secretariat General of the Deputy for Legislation of the Indonesian House of Representatives from 2008 to 2009, and as an Institutional Staff member of the Indonesian Waqf Council from 2008. Currently, Dr. Helza actively contributes to various professional organizations, including serving as the Central Executive Board of the Sharia Economic Community, the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Economists Association (IAEI) in the field of Waqf and Zakat Development, and the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economic Law Lecturers and Researchers (APPHEISI) in the International Publication Session.
