Education:
Prof. Atip Latipulhayat, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. is a professor of international law at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University (Unpad). Prof. Atip was born in Tasikmalaya on July 28, 1964. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Unpad (S.H.) in 1990 with a specialization in international law.
Prof. Atip completed his master's degree in law (LL.M.) at Monash University, Australia in 2000. He also received his doctorate (Ph.D.) in law from Monash University, Australia, in 2007. He also received additional education from The Hague Academy of International Law, Netherlands, The United Nations Geneva Office, and The International Ocean Institute, India. Prof. Atip has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, since 1993. He was once the President of the Indonesian Branch of the International Law Association (ILA), Chairman of the Center for Air and Space Law Studies (ICASL), Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, Member of The Hague Working Group of Space Resource Activities, and Editor-in-Chief of the Padjadjaran International Law Journal.
