Research Centers

Dr. Helza Nova Lita, S.H.,M.H.

The Center for Islamic Economic and Financial Law Studies, under the Department of Economic Law, Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, was established in October 2022. The establishment of the Center for Islamic Economic and Financial Law Studies aims to develop the competencies of lecturers in academic fields, such as research, article writing, and community service activities. It also assists students in various research activities, especially final assignments. Furthermore, this Center also optimizes collaboration with both government and private institutions. The Center for Islamic Economic and Financial Law Studies has experience in various research, studies, as a resource person, and collaboration with related institutions in the development of Islamic economics, such as the National Committee for Islamic Economics and Finance (KNEKS), Bank Indonesia, the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Association of Lecturers and Researchers of Islamic Economic Law (APPHEISI), and several other institutions, including collaboration with researchers from foreign/international institutions such as the Islamic study institute of the National University of Malaysia (UKM), and the National University of Malaysia.

Sharia Economic and Financial Law

  1. Research in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance, funded by Unpad, the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI), Ministries, Non-Ministerial State Institutions, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), KNEKS, the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI), Baznas, the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) and Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Provincial, City, and Regency Government Agencies, foreign institutions such as the IDB and similar institutions, corporations, particularly Sharia-based ones such as Sharia Banking, non-bank Sharia financial institutions, foreign direct investment (PMA), domestic direct investment (PMDN), state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD), and others.
  2. Publication of research results in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance, including books published by IKAPI member publishers and national and international scientific journals.
  3. Advocacy and Consultation on Islamic Economics and Finance Law for Business Actors.
  4. Preparation of academic manuscripts and drafting regulations within the scope of Islamic Economics and Finance Law.
  5. Provision of business contract drafting services for business actors.
  6. Provision of legal audit and due diligence services, as well as legal opinions.
  7. Seminar/Workshop/FGD/Training on Sharia Economic and Financial Law for the Community, Companies, Ministries, Non-Ministerial State Institutions, Provincial, City and Regency Services, BUMN, BUMD, Cooperatives and BUMDes.
